Niko couldn´t perform at his normal standars yesterday evening and "guilty" for it was Jonas Källman. The Swede watched him constantly like a jailer and Nikola was very seldom free to show his class. This man-marking was no doubt the main reason of THW´s defeat and we must admit that the opponent accomplished perfectly its mission.
Nikola doesn´t talked about this defence. In his opinion, Kiel was unable in asserting his own play. He felt from the very beginning that his team couldn´t perform as habitually. "We didn´t succeed to come really in the dispute in. We weren´t able to to break free ouserlves. In the end of the first half, we took a two goals lead, but we were not capable to keep it. Was it the pressure guilty for it? No doubt that it was so, but their defence was a hard nut to crack and we never found the means to do it. "
We certainly understand that Nikola is disappointed, like all of us, but the season didn´t come to the end and other victories are waiting for him. For example, on Wednesday, against Göppingen, when the Kielers have the chance to be again German champions. After it, it will be enough time to think about the great celebration who will take place on 17th May, after the home confrontation against Wetzlar, the last one of the current Bundesliga season.
