As one of the godfathers of the association ELA (European Association against Leukodystrophy), Nikola was invited to effectuate the kick-off of the game France - Serbia on Wednesday, counting for the World Cup 2010 qualifications.
The brand new Olympic Champion will be joined on the pitch by the little Alexis (12 years old). The kick-off will be the highlight of the day that Nikola will entirely dedicate to the association ELA.
First of all, the famous athlete will take part to a photo shoot for the action called "Mets tes baskets et bats la maladie" (in English: "put on your shoes and defeat the illness") before to record a TV show on the same issue, who will go on air on 5th October on the French channel TF1. It will follow a radio commercial for an action organised by Pasteur Institute. Finally, at 21 o´clock, Nikola will walk on the pitch of the Stade de France to execute the kick-off of the match.
