- So, was it really hot on Saturday at Kiel´s hall square?
"Like usually. The fans created the atmosphere, they were 15.000 or 20.000 in front of the town hall. We painted our faces with gold spray before we apperead in front of them. We sprayed the hair in this colour, we painted our bodies, too. We were very handsome. I was afraid of the weather, since two, three weeks it has been warm and sunny: 30 °C. And exactly on Saturday, just before we were joining the city hall, the sky was grey and it started to rain. Fortunately, it stopped at the right time."
- Do you want to talk about the game against Wetzlar?
"Well, there is not much to tell. We have tried to help Viktor and Igor to score as much as possible. I played in defence the first quarter of hour in the first and in the second half and the last 15 minutes of every half in defence and attack. We played very seriously and we could offer this last victory of the season to Viktor and Mattias and our loyal public. "
- How was the party you´ve organised for the farewell of Viktor Mattias?
"It was very good, like every well made party. We reserved a whole bar for us ans our relatives and close friends. It was really very nice, we painted the town red, but I had to leave my pals short after midnight because we had to leave very early this morning."
- And where are you now (it was 13 o´clock)?
"We drove at quarter past three and we are only in Besançon. We were caught for 2 hours in a traffic jam in Frankfurt."
- A bit of repose will wait for you in Montpellier.
"Oh, yes. Well, today I don´t think I will repose, but I will do it certainly tomorrow. And after it on Wednedsay I will join les Blues in Capbreton and I think I have the right to get another portion of repose. I feel that I need it. And the French Nationalteam´s doctor realises it equally."
- And won´t you meet your pals from Kiel for a short time before it?
"Everything depends on the Olympic Qualification Tournament. With this occasion I will see shortly Igor, he will also come back to Montpellier, and Vid, who will spend a couple of days at my place. And after it, maybe I will be visited by Kim and his girlfriend, they will spend their holiday in south-France. I will meet again also Börge at Olympic Qualification Tournament and after that if we qualify for the Olympic Games I will see some of them in Beijing. Concerning Titi, I see him again in two days. We never separate too long."
