"I am happy and very pleased. Tomorrow we will play the Olympic final. Is there something better to dream of for a handballplayer? Of course, there is: the gold medal."
- What did you do right after the end of the game against in Croatia?
"We meet in the dressing room and we said us that our aim is not reached yet. To be in the final is OK. But it is with the gold medal around our necks that we want to come back to France. After the shower, we watched the end of the first half of the match between Spain and Iceland. After it, we went back to the Olympic Village, we had dinner and we went to sleep."
- Is this everything, didn´t you have a snifter?
"Am I allowed to say it?"
- Olivier Girault announced it on Canal+ :"we will have a glass of what, like after every match..."
"Well, if the captain said it, then I am allowed to tell: we had a bier."
- Have you slept well?
"I can´t really say it, but I didn´t had a bad night. It is impossible to fall asleep like a baby after a dispute of such intensity. But I was so pleased and so happy that I could repose today."
- We can´t say it yet that the most difficult was done, can we?
"No, we can´t, but a big part of what was the most difficult was done. Now it remains us to complete the work. And it will be not easy, because Iceland isn´t in the final coincidentally."
- Is this a team who fits to your style of playing?
"They beat us during the World Championships 2007, we took our revenge during the Euro 2008 and we defeated them again in a preparation game. But they are a difficult, very difficult rival. They perform well, they play fast and they risk a lot and because everything succeeded them from the beginning of the tournament, they will take risks in front of us, too. We must be very careful because they have a good dynamics."
- But you have it also, haven´t you?
"Yes, we have it, there´s no reason to hide ourselves. We feel good, we play well and we have just beaten two big rivals in the quarter final and semifinal. I think that it will be a beautiful game."
