We lost stupidly balls, we missed easy shots...In short, we didn´t perform well in this sector. Despite that, we went in the dressing room with 2 goals advance (13:11) and we said to ourselves that we weren´t able to play badly as we did in atttack in the first half. And we were wrong...
At the beginning of the second half we lost the first two balls on our attack. Berlin took advantage of this, reduced the difference and from this moment on everything succeeded them. All their shots were in and in goal Petr Stochl made doubt. He waited Kiel´s arrival to make the game of his life!
Down by six and with twelve minutes to go, we looked very bad. Then Noka sent in Viktor Szilagyi on the back position and Mattias Andersson replaced Titi. And we reversed the situation. Viktor scored the last three goals and Mattias made very important saves and we won.
So, yes, we were lucky. A championships is decided often by such encounters. Berlin played perfectly well, especially in defence. But we found the mental resources to came back and to win."
