28:12! An incredible defence and the collective play in attack brought les Bleus a beautiful victory over one of the favourites to a medal. It was their four consecutive win in the group A and they can go for a fifth one on Monday afternoon, against Poland.

This French team is a delight for the eyes and a blessing for the handball! They have everything that an Olympic Champion must have: a great goalkeeper, an incredible strong and flexible defence leaded by some of the best defenders in the world, a lethal fastbreak, a perfect relation with the pivot and a back line composed of very powerfull and athletic players.
In these conditions, Spain were only once in front, 2:1 after 6 minutes, because the blue fury totally overrun them. It was 8:2/13., 9:3/16., 10:4/18., 12:6/21., for the French superstars, a consistent advantage that they took with in the dressing room in the half break (16:10).
The team coached by Juan Carlos Pastor started better in the second half, scoring three times in a row (16:13/34.), but their hopes died as fast as they were born. During 11 minutes, they scored not goal, the opponent made four and the scoreboard showed a categoric 20:13 for Nikola´ squad. A margin that brought France safety and in the end a well deserved victory, 28:21. It is clear that les Blues future in the Olympic tournament looks always brighter...
